Vincent proudly served in combat in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. His family is immensely proud of his service to our country. When he returned from service, Vincent married “the sweetest girl he ever met,” his adoring wife, Lorraine, who wrote to him daily while he was away at war. After working for years in the meatpacking district in New York City, Vincent went on to start his own business in 1954 from which he proudly retired in 1989. He never missed a day of work in 35 years, instilling the family values of resilience, determination, and unwavering perseverance when faced with life’s challenges.

During his life, Vincent was well known in the community for his beautiful Christmas light display at his home in North Woodmere, New York. Following his wife’s passing, he relocated to Little River, South Carolina to be closer to family and enjoy sunshine by the pool. An avid sports fan, Vincent never missed a NY football or baseball game. He cared deeply for his family and was constantly surrounded by love, laughter, and joy. He leaves behind a legacy that will never be forgotten. The family wishes to thank his caregivers for the care and support provided during his several years in South Carolina.
