Louis Guerra

A graduate of John Adams High School, Louis Guerra and his wife Mary Lou live in Deer Park with their two sons. A graduate of John Adams High School and Mortuary School at the American Academy of McAllister Institute, Louis served as manager of the Charles J. O'Shea Funeral Homes before partnering with Louis and James Bruno to purchase the funeral homes upon the retirement of Charles O'Shea.

A former college baseball player and coach at Saint John's University, Guerra is an accomplished musician whose band played for the Christopher Reeve Foundation, Harry Bellafonte's Lighthouse for the Blind and QVC Breast Cancer Drive. Louis serves in the community as a member of the Knights of Columbus Padre Pio Council in Bellmore, achieving a 4th degree. 

Louis Bruno

An active, lifelong resident of East Islip, Louis Bruno and his wife Jennifer are raising their three children in the community. The son of Joseph and Marie Bruno, he received his degree in Mortuary Science from Nassau Community College after graduating from East Islip High School. He worked in the community for several years before joining Charles J. O'Shea Funeral Homes. Upon the retirement of Charles O'Shea, Louis and his friend and co-worker Louis Guerra purchased the funeral homes from Mr. O'Shea to ensure the continued service of a local, family-owned funeral home. In 2007, they partnered with James Bruno and purchased Albrecht Funeral Home. 

Louis and his family are committed to serving the community through volunteer activity including Kiwanis, The Children of Hope Foundation and the Chamber of Commerce

James Bruno

Born and raised in East Islip, James Bruno is a lifelong dedicated community member. The son of Joseph and Marie Bruno, he felt called to the funeral profession at a young age. After graduating from East Islip High School in 1994, he attended Nassau Community College and received a degree in Mortuary Science. He worked as a funeral director in the community for 15 years before joining his brother Louis at Charles J. O'Shea Funeral Homes in 2006. Together with Louis Guerra, they purchased the Albrecht Funeral Home in 2007, allowing them to continue offering high quality service and expertise in caring from a local, family-owned business.

James and his wife Kristy have two children and are active in the community and schools. He is a member of the Islip Rotary, Knights of Columbus, Sons of Italy, Chamber of Commerce and many other local organizations. He is passionate about mentoring the youth of East Islip and is a member of the East Islip/Dowling School-Business Partnerships Career Development Program.
