In Lieu of Flowers, the Flammer family is accepting donations for a Memorial at the East Islip Marina in John's name.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our Dad, John Milton Flammer Jr. Born to John Milton and Violet Jane (Oswald) Flammer on October 29, 1954, in Bronx, New York and passed away on January 13, 2025, surrounded by his family. John left behind his high school sweetheart, GraceAnn Calandrino, and four children, Christine (Josh) Hodulick, Dawn (Chris) Orfanos, Joey (Kat) Flammer, and Dana (Tim) Tolkach. He was “Pop, Pop-pop, PaPa” to grandchildren Cara, Ryan, Leah, James, Jace, Jett, Ava, and a little one on the way. He was preceded in death by his dear sisters, Diane (John) Barbato, Debbie Manese, and Linda (Steve) Troia. John was survived by sister, Lois (Joe) Costa, brother Michael (Fran) Flammer, sister Joan Flammer, and brother in law Paul Manese. A time to celebrate his life will be held at Albrecht, Bruno and O’shea Funeral Home, 62 Carleton Avenue, East Islip, NY on Friday, January 17, 2025 from 4-8pm with service at 7:15pm.
