Michael and Jean Votta Auburn CA.
Our sincerest condolences to Ralph's family, loved one and friends. His joy and passion for family, friends, fishing and live itself will be missed. "Cuz" Ralph helped fill a void for me after my father Alfred Votta passed, retelling all the family stories and history from Brooklyn and the shenanigans at Al's gas station.

The Passing Of West End Legend Ralph Votta
My Sincere Condolences to Ralph’s:
Family & Many, Many Dear Friends.
Ralph “The Tin Man”…….
Holds a Special Place in our Hearts
And in our Surfcasting Community.
With a Lifetime of Fabricating “The Best” Tin Lures
Always Honoring Charley Graves Memories & Designs.
Teaching & Mentoring many a Passionate Surfcaster,
And Dedicating Himself to maintaining the Art
And Preservation of Old School Tin Lures.
As Ralphie Said: “Plastic & Wood are Good,
But You Always Win with Tin”…….
Ralph was a Retired Proud Union Crane Operator,
A Highly Skilled & Stressful Trade.
As a fellow Tradesman working with Cranes,
Ralphie & I would always “Talk Shop”.
Ralph’s eyes would Always Lightup as we
Would Chat & Go Down Memory Lane.
Come Springtime when the Yellow Forsythia Bloom,
I will reach in my Surf Bag for a Your J7 Tin
And Cast Prospecting the Shoreline In Your Honor.
I Will Treasure Our Friendship,
Remember You Fondly & Our Time Shared.
May God Bless You Ralph Votta
Perpetual Light Always Shine Upon You.
I Miss You Already My Dear Friend

It was a pleasure knowing Ralph, kind, down to earth. Had many good times at gatherings on our block. He had a warm smile and always had stories to tell. You will be missed. May you be joyfully fishing in heaven. Until we meet again. Our deepest condolences to the Votta Family.
Love Betty and Bob Fobare
