Obituary
Adele was the child of Frank and Rosina (Rose) D’Auria of Richmond Hill, Queens, NY.
Adele had 7 siblings and was the second to youngest child. Her parents and all her siblings have predeceased her.
Married to Frank L. Simone, now deceased, for 64 years.
Mother of three (3) children: Catherine L. Allegretto (married to James Allegretto);
Frank S. Simone (married to Linda Simone); and
Lisa Wolf (married to Arthur Wolf).
Grandmother to six (6) children: Michael, Samantha, Alexandra, Steven, Brett and Justin.
Great Grandmother to eight {8) children: Scarlett, Austin, Rex, Logan, Miller, Colbie, Cecilia and Grayson.
She is survived by her children and their spouses, grandchildren, great grandchildren and many Simone brother and sister-in-laws: Camille Simone, Joseph and Barbara Simone, Anthony and Debbie Simone, Danny and Nancy Simone, Robert Simone, Sam Simone, Vincent and Rita Simone.
Adele was employed in many different positions throughout her lifetime, including administrative, customer service, transportation, sales, etc. Adele retired in 1996 from J.C. Penny Fine Jewelry Department as a Salesperson.
Adele volunteered in many different organizations throughout her lifetime, some of which can be recalled include:
Suffolk County Republican Club;
Rosary Society, St. Lukes Church;
American Legion Women’s Auxilliary;
Red Hat Society;
Welcome Committee, Birchwood at Spring Lake;
Theatre, Birchwood at Spring Lake;
St. Charles Hospital.
Adele throughout her lifetime participated in a Mah Jong Game Night, Women’s Golf, Daily Walks with friends and enjoyed travel and painting.
