My husband and I are so deeply saddened to hear of Mike’s passing. We first met Mike sometime around 2002 when he lived in Virginia. He was the best neighbor and would always bring us his delish homemade apple cakes. He also sketched beautiful portraits of our two children that we still display in our home 20 years later. We have exchanged Christmas cards for many years and when we didn’t receive one this year, we were worried that something had happened. We will remember him fondly and miss those yearly Christmas cards. Thoughts and prayers to Marianne and all the family. Todd and Audra Barricks

I am deeply saddened to hear about the passing of my grandfather. He was truly a hero, having served in the Navy and spent years in submarine. I will always remember the wonderful times we spent together, especially our visits to the aquarium and the navy base to see the naval ships with grandma. His bravery and dedication to his country are an inspiration to us all. Please accept my heartfelt condolences during this difficult time and I wish our family could be there. His legacy will always be remembered. I wish all of my children could’ve had the chance to meet him and know what an inspiration he truly was.
