Obituary
Craig Berlin, aged 63, passed away on July 16th, 2024, leaving behind a legacy cherished by his family, friends, and colleagues. He was a devoted husband, loving father, caring son, doting uncle, and trusted friend. He is survived by his loving wife Angela, his sons Daniel and Matthew and their partners MaryKate and Julie Anna, his mother Alice, and sister Elyse and brother in law Charles, Pat and sister in law Joan. His nieces and nephews Alexa, Mike, Nick, Nora, Maggie, Emma, Lizzie and baby Capri will miss him dearly along with his extended family and numerous friends. Craig's memory will live on through the countless lives he touched and the enduring legacy of his service and passion.
Born in Brooklyn NY to parents Alice and Howie, Craig dedicated 30 years of his life in service to the New York Police Department, where he exemplified courage, honor, and compassion in every aspect of his work.

His commitment to the community and unwavering dedication earned him the respect and admiration of all who had the privilege of knowing him. He will especially be remembered for his role as a respected mentor and teacher to countless new rookies who joined the force.
Beyond his distinguished career, Craig had a passion for comic books and cars that was infectious to those around him. He could often be found engrossed in the pages of his favorite comics, or attending many a car show with his beloved Mustang where his expertise and enthusiasm shone brightly.

Craig's quick witted sense of humor and love of practical jokes will be remembered fondly. Whether sharing stories with fellow comic enthusiasts or offering guidance to friends and family, he approached life with a generosity of spirit that will be remembered fondly by all who knew him.
A celebration of Craig's life will be held at O' Shea's Funeral Home on July 18th, 2024, where friends and family will gather to honor his memory and share stories of his remarkable life.
Craig Berlin will be remembered not only for his bravery in service but also for his boundless love and devotion to his family, his contagious passions and his enduring friendship to all who were fortunate enough to know him.
Rest in peace, Craig. Your presence will be deeply missed, but your spirit will forever live on in our hearts.
