In recent months I’ve gone through health challenges and Sal was the first on the team to reach out ; “Sylviaaaaaa!!!! It’s been so long. Just checking in, how are you?” I’ve had colleagues come and go but no one so open to share scripture, joys , victories and hope like Sal. I physically met him once a year and a half ago. Saw him virtually many times. Exchanged numerous texts which I now cherish. As a woman of faith, I know I experienced what being Godlike is-loving, kind, wise, powerful, fearless, vulnerable, selfless. I am truly blessed to have known Salvatore Manzo, a gift from God.
My prayers for his beloved mother for her unimaginable loss. May she find comfort in knowing that the beautiful son she birthed shared a love for God’s people that is eternal.

There are no words to express our deep heart felt sorrow for your loss. He was an exceptional, independent, strong spirit, that never let anything, hold him down. We are all saddened by the loss of the great fight he fought over ten years.
Each hurdle he attacked and jumped with fierce determination.
His smile was infectious, warm and genuine. An amazing person on so many levels. He will be missed by all.
