Obituary
Peter Sheridan of Levittown, NY passed away on December 22, 2023 surrounded by his loved ones at the age of 63. Peter leaves behind his beloved wife, Patricia of 37 years. He was the loving father of Ashley (Michael), Kyle and Robert. He was an adored grandfather to Isabella, Connor, and Charlotte. Peter was the dearly loved son of Marilyn Sheridan and the adored brother of Claire Graham and Daniel Sheridan. He was also a much-loved brother-in-law and uncle to his many nieces and nephews. While we mourn Peter’s tragic passing, we remember all his passions and positive outlooks on life. Peter was involved in coaching multiple sports, passing down his love for the game to his sons, with whom he shared countless memories. He played ice hockey for many years with the Bladerunners, while also dedicating his time to play alongside his sons. Peter crossed the finish line of an immeasurable number of 5k’s, half marathons, and full marathons. He shared his passion for traveling with his loved ones, embarking on countless family vacations over the years. Peter truly was a family-oriented man and always devoted himself to being the best at everything he did. His legacy will live on through the lives of those he impacted. Peter's family will welcome friends and family to pay their respects on Wednesday from 2:00-4:00 pm or 7:00-9:00 pm at Charles J. O’Shea Funeral Home, 2515 N. Jerusalem Rd, East Meadow, NY. On Thursday, a mass at 10:00 am will be held at St. Frances de Chantal R.C. Church in Wantagh, NY, with interment to immediately follow at Pinelawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation in Peter’s memory.
