I am so heartbroken to hear the passing of Carol,
I know Carol from Canarsie Brooklyn like many of us did. You were always so much fun when we got together to hangout . Then what happened next was unbelievable we hadn’t seen each other for so many years , just to find out we live in Wantagh blicks from each other!
I do wish we had planned some more beautiful days together , but you were needed to be a beautiful angel right now… rest in peace my friend.

So saddened to hear about my special one of a kind childhood friend. She was a light in all of our lives. Canarsie was the best place to grow up and Carol was one of the top reasons. From the Seaview Pool to singing songs in her basement to hanging out on 103rd street and Avenue M she was the kindest sweetest friend ever! I will always remember you! I’ve loved you since the day we met back in 1994. I knew that day we would be friends for life. So many memories living on Lufberry include you. Always with open arms and hysterically laughing. My childhood friend, confidant, roomie when I got my apartment in NYC, maid of honor at our wedding, I can go on and on. Carol was one of my BFF’s growing up and into adulthood. Carol was an amazing, adventurous, fun, wonderful, beautiful, caring, and loving soul. Although we did not see each other over the years, when we did speak, it was as if no time had passed. She added so much joy to my life! I will always treasure the memories we had together..My only regret is we didn’t have more. José and I are praying for Steve and the family. We love you.
