Brendan, you were a light in Meghan's life, the best father to Ryleigh girl and Declan boy, and just the kindest man. I'll never forget how you took care of Meg and all of us after AM's wake and had us all back to the house for a ton of food from Salpinos and way too much to drink, to crash wherever we needed to in your house. You were an honorary Scranton crew member, and we truly felt how much you loved us. Thank you for loving Meg in the way that you did. I told you at your wedding in my matron of honor toast that she would love you relentlessly because it's the only way she knows how. She did, she always will. We thank you for loving her relentlessly. We promise to take care of her and the kids. We will miss you forever, and honor you always.

I am deeply saddened by the sudden loss of Brendan. I knew and worked with him for many years, and he was an integral part of the Allied World family. Brendan was humble and self-deprecating. He was reliable and responsive. He liked to dig into the details and come up with solutions. And he did all of this with humor. There is no doubt that Brendan will be greatly missed by all who knew him. My heartfelt condolences go out to the O'Regan family during this difficult time.

I've worked with Brendan as long as he was with Allied World. He was more like a cousin to me than a colleague and the Atlantic Ocean between the New York and Dublin office was irrelevant. The devastation felt by our Global Team is immense both within IT and beyond as he had assisted so many over the years. My heart goes out to Meghan, Riley, Declan, Sean and his poor mother. Many many tears have been shed over the past few days. This one cuts deep. May the angels guide him in. Rest in peace General. Ashling Galvin

Never have I ever met someone that so many call their "best friend". But such a genuine and caring soul, it's no surprise. With such an open heart, it was hard not to be friends with him, he connected and made you feel welcomed immediately. Buddyville wasn't just Brendan 's house, it was a community. Near, far however long it's been buddies just picked up where they left off. He made sure to keep in touch with all the buddies. He made time for everyone. We will miss you buddy.
