Obituary of Joseph J. Cassara

November 18, 1949 - October 12, 2023 We are heartbroken to announce the passing of Joseph Cassara of North Bellmore. Joseph was born in Monreale, Sicily and immigrated with his parents and siblings to Astoria, Queens. He met the love of his life Annette and they moved to Bellmore to raise their family. He was a devoted husband to his wife Annette for over 50 years and loving father to his three children Joseph, Nicole, and Vincent. He was also the joyful grandfather (Grandpa Joe) to his four beautiful granddaughters Noelle, Alana, Katherine, and Amelia. Joseph was a kind, brilliant, funny, hard-working, family man. He was a Master Electrician for Local #3 IBEW. He was great with numbers, loved pizza, lobster rolls, and oldies music. He was unfortunately infirmed with Multiple Sclerosis which depleted his health and mobility. He was blessed to be cared for in the comfort of his home by his devoted wife and family. Our hearts are forever broken but his legacy lives on in his children and grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, family and loved ones can choose to make a donation to the https://www.nationalmssociety.org/Donate
