Dear Family:
I wish to express my deepest condolences. Alice will be fondly remembered by her colleagues, her students, their parents and the school administrators. Alice “ made a difference” which we all strive to do.
I truly hope that the loving memories you have of Alice will help to fill the emptiness left by her absence.
With sincere sympathy,
Elizabeth Eide

Alice was a wonderful friend and a true Sigma Kappa Sorority sister. She was always willing to go above and beyond to help with sorority projects from fun frat mixers to volunteering and raising money for our philanthropies (Alzheimers and Maine Sea Coast Mission). She was a bridesmaid at my wedding, helping make sure everything went smoothly.
Prayers for her family.

Alice was a dedicated professional, looking to her students' needs first. She was a stalwart member of her union, even into retirement, volunteering to represent her colleagues. Alice took responsibility for holiday donations of Toys for Tots through her contacts, again putting children first. I will miss her dedication and good humor.
