I was sad to hear of Debbie's passing. We worked together for much of my career. We were at two different companies; me the consultant and Debbie the vendor but we were partners and became fast friends. We had the Brooklyn connection and our work-related calls always turned to even longer gab sessions. She was so happy to retire and I will always remember how she handled the most difficult client situations with poise and professionalism. Prayers and peace.

I was deeply saddened to just learn that Debbie passed away, now nearly five months ago. I had the pleasure of working with Debbie for perhaps twenty years, I as consultant to the health care programs of multiple large clients of Debbie's, she as the representative of UnitedHealthcare in its many incarnations over that time. The job Debbie had wasn't easy: a constantly changing health care delivery system, escalating costs, balancing client demands--both the reasonable and the unreasonable, corporate changes at UHC, the pestering by consultants like me, always increasing pressures of time and technology and change and personalities. Debbie was unfailingly a real pleasure to deal with. Always a professional, she worked hard at solving her clients' problems and bolstering UHC's position, even when issues were difficult and resources were thin. One thing I always knew was that Debbie would take my call, listen, understand, and do her best to get answers. She served a couple of our mutual clients for well over a decade, which is saying a lot in this industry. It's a shame that there were relatively few times I was spent with her "off-line", typically over lunch; she had a great laugh, and we were always at ease. I hope others who knew Debbie will read this and understand how her professionalism and attitude was valued and appreciated from one who was "on the other side of the table". Thank you, Debbie; you left a lot of good behind.

I have known Debbie since we were in our early 20s.
Never once have I ever felt that I was her cousin by marriage! I was always treated like her cousin by blood!
I will cherish the memories and the fun times!
I will miss you, Debbie, with all my heart. Rest in peace.
Love, Carol Shank

Debbie was a colleague and friend to many at UnitedHealthcare where she worked for many years. I have many fond memories of Debbie over the years. She was always pleasant to work with and willing to share the deep expertise she had in all that she did professionally or just lend an ear or advice on a personal matter. Most important Debbie was a great supporter not only to those she knew well but those she came to know and who were fortunate enough to become a friend. She will be missed.

All of the Wantagh Daly's who knew Debbie and the Mahoney clan send their condolences. Some of us recently spent time with Debbie at her house, and as always she welcomed us with open arms and passed on good cheer. May she rest in peace.

We are heavy hearted at the loss of Aunt Debbie. She was a loving, giving person. She was much too young to go. We love her and miss her. We pray for God's peace on all of Aunt Debbie's family and friends that love and miss her too.
