Obituary
Phyllis Bartolotta (nee Dilluvio), also known as The Sicilian Slammer and Nona, has passed from this world on August 5th, 2023. She was the beloved wife of the late Thomas Bartolotta, and mother to her sons Gregory (Joann) and Douglas (Ellen). She was the proud grandmother of Matthew, Amy, Marianne, Alicia, Rachel, Allison and Danielle. She worked for many years as a special education teacher’s aide at Levittown Memorial and Division Ave High School. She was actively involved in the Scouts during her sons’ formative years and took the role as Den Mother for several years. She was part of the Red Hat Society and actively participated in the Wantagh Senior Center. She loved to travel and had the opportunity to visit many countries abroad. She loved to entertain and hosted many fun and amazing family gatherings. We will all miss her dearly.
