Obituary

We said goodbye to our sweet girl Pearl Annabel Heinlein, age 9, on Thursday morning July 29th at 9:23am after a courageous fight with B-ALL leukemia. In the end, she got an infection her little body just couldn’t conquer. She was a force, a light, a creative soul with spunk, spice and joy. She lit up the world around us all. She loved art, her friends, playing lacrosse (Bay Shore and Top Guns leagues), St. Patricks School, and Acro at Kovacs Dance Studio. Besides her sweet sisters, Pickles, her dog, was her favorite (when he wasn’t drooling on her). Sushi was a favorite meal. She spent time at home playing Roblox, loving Pandas, Gnomes, scooting on her little scooter and pampering herself with her new skin care regime (a new expensive hobby). She loved visiting her friends at the swing on Pine, the Child Life girls in the playroom at Cohens Children’s Hospital, and camp at Southward Ho Country Club each summer. She is survived by Brian (father), Brie (mother), siblings June and Georgie and Pickles, the dog (an enormous Great Dane puppy). We will be celebrating her life on Friday, July 7 at 10:30am at Saint Patricks Church, 9 North Clinton Ave, Bay Shore, NY. Our only ask is that if you come, please wear bright happy colors in her honor. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Pearl Heinlein Memorial Scholarship Fund https://gofund.me/4cb63e61.
