GROSSO – Richard J. of Wantagh, NY on April 1, 2023, at the age of 70. Beloved husband of Debra. Devoted father of Joanna (Greg) Walbrecht, Stephanie (Anthony) Reid, and Ricky. Cherished grandfather of Emma, Anthony, and Alexa. Family was everything to Richard. He enjoyed watching his son play numerous sports and continued that enjoyment by watching his grandchildren play soccer and baseball. Debra and Richard just celebrated their 20th Wedding Anniversary. He loved being with his family and was happiest when everyone was all together. Richard retired after 48 years from his beloved job at Con Ed who he was very proud to work for, giving him lifelong friends who he loved dearly. His sense of humor was the best. He always lit up the room with his dance moves or silly jokes. Richard will be sorely missed beyond words by all those who loved him. Family will receive friends Tuesday, 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm, at the Charles J. O’Shea Funeral Homes, 603 Wantagh Ave. (Exit 28N SS PKWY) Wantagh, NY. Religious Service to be held Tuesday 8pm.
