To the Lovejoys,
Having spent many years working alongside Kevin at FDNY, I was very sorry to hear of his passing. He was smart, witty, and always willing to help. We shared many a laugh together over his days as a rock star (my words, not his) and life's ironies. Kevin will always rock on in my mind. My sincere condolences to the family.

Kevin, you will truly be missed! You were the first person everybody would see when they walked into the building. I will miss you asking us if we wanted Tenfull for lunch. I will miss the stories you told around the lunch table. You were always there to lend a helpful hand around the office. Thank you Kevin for being you! Rest in Heavenly Peace Kevin!

It was always a true pleasure working with you over these many years! Your keen intellect, willingness to help and, of course, your wonderful sense of humor made you a special member of the FDNY team. You will always stand out as a person with dignity, humility and dedication. God Speed my friend!

Kevin began working with FDNY as a consultant in 2004. In 2010, he was hired full time as a project manager working on various technology and construction projects for the agency.
One thing we can always say about Kevin was how he would go above and beyond for people in the office. If you had an issue with your PC or printer, he would drop everything to help you out.
Kevin would always walk up and down the halls asking people “I’m doing Ten Full today”. He would tell stories about 1970’s tv shows that only he would get the reference to or joke about how no one knew what he did.
Kevin was a great person, with an amazing soul that will never be forgotten and will be sorely missed.
God bless you Kevin.
