Gerard D. McCaffrey, “G Man,” passed away Saturday, October 22, 2022, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. He was 62. Gerard treasured his beloved wife Ann for their 30 years of marriage. Loving son of Catherine and the late Walter McCaffrey. Cherished brother of Kevin, Walter, Helen, Catherine, and John. Adored brother-in-law to the Dillinger Family. Wonderful uncle to many nieces and nephews. Proud US Navy Veteran. The McCaffrey family was a staple of East Meadow, and like so many Irish Catholic families attented St. Raphael Catholic School with his siblings. Gerard could always be found with a smile on his face or drink in his hand making people happy with a joke or two. He loved sitting quitely with his dog Roxie, or rocking out to the Rolling Stones. He loved his family and left a lasting impression to all who knew him. Gerard will be forever missed by all. Family will receive friends Tuesday, 2 pm – 4 pm and 7 pm – 9 pm, at the Charles J.
