Giordano, Jeanette (née Parkinson) of N. Babylon, NY and Mulberry, FL on October 12, 2022 at the age of 89. Daughter of Harry and Frances, Jeanette was born in 1932 at a time when her family chore was to pick up ice from a horse drawn cart. She changed with the world for close to 90 years and became the family matriarch; beloved mother of 5, grandmother of 9, devoted Gigi to 9 great grandchildren, and favorite great aunt to family across the country extending back to Italy. Predeceased by her beloved husband Ralph, her son Ralph Junior, and bonus son Robert Harris. She was the loving mother of Christine Campbell (Doug), Marian Joiner (Tom), Stephen Giordano (Kay), and Susan Harris (Robert). Jeanette kept friendships she made as a teenager and gathered precious new friends throughout her life. She loved music, dancing, and playing the guitar with her church folk group. The Spangle Dr. Senior Center became her stomping grounds with dear friends who loved parties, karaoke, dining out, games, and mornings at the beach as much as she. Her family was her greatest joy, especially the great grands known simply as ‘the greats’.
