Obituary

SCHICK – Martin, M.D. of North Bellmore, NY on July 18, 2022, at the age of 93. Born June 23, 1929, in Brooklyn, NY. Beloved father of the late Stewart, Jeffrey (Laura), Curtis, Erik Reichstein, and Daniel Reichstein. Adored brother of the late Elliot. Dr. Schick graduated from NYU – Bellevue Medical School, interned at Brooklyn Jewish, and then National Cancer Institute in Bethesda, MD. Residency was performed at Nassau University Medical Center where he started The Cancer Chemotherapy Program and actively practiced for 9 years. Dr. Schick opened his own practice in 1959 in Bellmore, NY. Family will receive friends Sunday and Monday 2-4pm & 6-8 pm, at Charles J. O’Shea Funeral Homes, 603 Wantagh Ave. (Exit 28N SS PKWY) Wantagh, NY. Interment to follow on Tuesday, 10:45 am at Pinelawn Memorial Park, Farmingdale, NY.
