Dr. Lester S. Freedman of North Bellmore, NY, retired as an anatomic pathologist at Nassau University Medical Center for 22 years has passed away at the age of 68. Beloved husband of Janet Freedman. Loving stepfather to JoAnn Belferder (Jared) and Jennifer Alterman (Brian). Adored grandfather to Lily, Jordan, Joshua, Frankie, and Joseph. Brother of Eliot Freedman (Mary) and Nadine Steinhardt (Louis). Uncle to Jay, Michael, and Andrew. Great Uncle to Olivia. Les was a loving husband and proud Papa. He enjoyed traveling, spending time with his family, and woodworking in "Papa's Shop." He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
