Obituary of Thomas J. Marcinek
MARCINEK – Thomas J. formerly of Wantagh, NY on April 12, 2022, at the age of 85. Beloved husband of the late Adelheid. Cherished father of David (Susan). Loving grandfather of Owen and Annabelle. He enjoyed golf, bird watching, star gazing, cold beer, road trips and long chats with friends. Being one of nine siblings, he was particularly close to his large and loving family. Thomas was a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy. He then dedicated 30 years to an engineering career at the Federal Aviation Administration, first at JFK Airport then in Westbury, NY. In lieu of flowers, please kindly consider donating to The National Audubon Society, www.audubon.org. Family will receive friends Wednesday, 6-8 pm, at Charles J. O’Shea Funeral Homes, 603 Wantagh Ave. (Exit 28N SS PKWY) Wantagh, NY. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, 10 am, at St. Frances de Chantal R.C. Church in Wantagh, NY.
