Ruland – Edward J. on April 6, 2022 at the age of 87. Beloved husband of the late Lucia Ann. Devoted father of Dolores Welch (Donald), Stephen (Lisa) & Eric (Cheryl). Cherished by his 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Proud US Army Veteran. Dedicated Retired Police Officer in the NYPD. Family will receive friends Sunday, 2 pm – 6 pm, at Albrecht Bruno & O’Shea Funeral Homes 62 Carleton Avenue (2 Miles South Exit 43A SS PKWY) East Islip, NY. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, 9:45 am, at St. Mary’s R.C. Church in East Islip. Interment to follow at St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Bayshore.
