Dorothy J. Murphy, “Dotty,” passed away peacefully on March 29, 2022 at the age of 84. Beloved wife of the late Allen. Devoted mother of Kimberly Fauci (Mark), Michael Murphy (Trish), and Kevin Murphy (Beatrix). Cherished grandmother of Bryan, Kaitlin (Ryan), Alisha (Kaleb), Collin, Jessica, Alexander, Christiana, and Jonathan. Proud great-grandmother of Elijah and Everett. Predeceased by her wonderful siblings Fredde and Thelma. Forever a Queens Girl, Dorothy had a gift for making conversation and connecting with people. To meet her was to feel like you’ve known her all your life. We are truly blessed to have her as our mother and grandmother. She we always remain in our hearts. Family will receive friends Sunday, April 3, 2022, 2 pm – 4 pm and 6 pm – 8 pm, at the Albrecht, Bruno & O’Shea Funeral Homes, 62 Carleton Avenue East Islip, NY 11730. A Funeral Service will be held Monday, 10:30 am, in the Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Calverton National Cemetery.
