I have many fond memories of Donny, so many I do not know where to begin. I can honestly say I had a very good vibe from Don the first time I met him. He was genuine and very receptive toward me. When he became my brother-in-law, I remember saying to myself, Bonnie you have a good guy here…as time went on, I felt that brother-in-law was too formal, he was much more than that. He was in every way possible a brother too me and to my brother Tim as well. A wonderful Son to our Mom and Dad. We often spoke about him with high praise. In fact, I often felt closer to him than my own flesh and blood. He always made us feel comfortable around him. For many years he was the go too guy for a variety of computer or technical issues…He loved a challenge and for the most part would do his best to help us. He would often say to us that Google is your best friend. His way of saying you would be surprised how helpful it can be that we should give it a try, without being rude…My favorite Don trait was his diplomatic approach to a problem. He often asked how my boys were doing knowing very well it would not be a short answer coming from me. But he toughed it out with grace. He often was the voice of reason for me. When I was nervous about my up and coming back surgery last April, he gave me very encouraging words days before, he also called me a couple times during my recovery, another valuable trait. There was never a doubt that we were every bit as part of his family as he was ours…He will be deeply and sorely missed by all who come to know, because to know him was to love him. To my Sister Bonnie, my Nephew Anthony and my Niece Briana I share your heartbreak and lose. R.I.P. My dear brother.
