I can’t believe you’re gone. Brittany just told me she had plans to go visit aunt Michel in the summer. Brittany and I were talking about when you were here and we made the big ice cream Sundays before dinner and then after dinner we made them again. Lol we are all in such shock still can’t believe it. I miss your beautiful smile my friend until we meet again.

I’m still in disbelief you are gone . We should be planning our next Mohegan trip . You were a great friend . I’ll always have the memories growing up in Elmont and then reconnecting and our Mohegan trips , Waterzooi lunches and our conversations that lasted for hours and hours we’d talk @ everything and nothing . Love you I’m gonna miss you terribly. Rest In Paradise My Beautiful Friend

Cuz, I can't believe you're gone. You were the best baby-sitter when I was growing up, and some of my favorite awkward teenage memories are of watching "Clueless" with you over and over again on the couch ("rollin' with the homies..."), or playing "Sonic the Hedgehog" when I first moved back to New York.
You helped me get drunk for the first time (on "slippery nipple" shots in Grandma's kitchen), and you were one of the few who truly appreciated the way that Pop-Pop would "butcher the English language" with his malapropisms as much as I did. ("It's not the heat; it's the homididity.") We've also had a shared love for our cats; they're not mere pets. They're our children.
You're already missed so much, but even through my tears, I can't help smiling and laughing at all the good times we had. You brought so much joy.
Rest in peace, Shelly.
Love, Nikki
