Toto was not only my sister-in-law she was a good friend and a true sister to me. I remember when I first came to New York we lived together at 252 East 92nd and also at 144 East 94th Street. It was a great experience sharing those spaces with her and three of her children. I recall the times that we both used to go shopping together on Pitkin Avenue & Belmont on Saturdays to buy poule du, lambi and noix for the household. She was a very wise woman and a great counselor / encourager. I also recall some fond memories in Haiti with her. We only lived a few blocks away when we were in Haiti. There were many times that she would cook mais moulin ak gombo ak cabo (fish) and would send Marie to come get me to share in her feast. Toto, my loving sister, you know how much I love you. I will never forget you. As you said it best, “ Toutt gloire pou Bon Dieu!” Rest in Peace beloved - Claudette Duvivier
