I always considered Aunt Rita to be a second mother to me. Not only was she our Mom's only sister, but she was attentive and caring, anytime I interacted with her. She was a stoic, thoughtful woman, and always seemed steady, centered, and a source of stability. We all will miss her. Personally, I miss that infectious laugh that would instantly remind me that I was amongst an extended family that I love so much. God Bless you, Aunt Rita, and may you rest in peace. Thank you for all the wonderful memories throughout the years! They will live on! And yes, feel free to continue that conversation with your sister... in Heaven.
