Just found out about the passing of my dear friend Pat. My sincere condolences to the entire Dawson family. I knew Pat since his first days behind the bar at Zum's !! He was always warm, entertaining, and always good for a laugh. I will always remember him for coming to work an hour early, to say hello and mingle with the crowd on the OTHER side of the bar. He will be missed by many who enjoyed his friendship over the years !! Rest in Peace my friend !! Hank Steincke

Over 40 years ago.. The Bluegate bartender. The cheeky but charming Irishman that introduced an entire generation to the wicked but wonderful world of alcohol. Pat became our friend and mentor, changed our lives for the better and made us all eternally grateful to have known and been loved by him.
