Kathy - I'm so sorry I never had the pleasure of meeting Jim, but I know he was deeply loved and will be missed terribly by you and Shannon and the rest of your family and friends. He was very lucky to have loved ones so devoted to him. My heart goes out to all of you and the dogs that Jim loved so much.

Jimmy was a true friend to me, we did a lot together on and off the playing field of life. He was a complete gentleman a genuine soul. I would call or text him, he would call and text me. I stayed in constant contact with him to the end. We would talk and laugh often, always supporting one another. My heart go out to him and his beautiful family. The Madden family send their deepest condolences.

My family and I moved to levittown about 8 years ago. My father had passed away soon after and while I adjusted to my loss, I befriended Jim. Immediately as a neighbor, Jim was someone that I would always speek to over the fence but very quickly he became a friend that I could turn to for help and guidance with anything while learning to live in a new place. Anytime I needed a tool or to be laughed at, I could always count on Jim! He became more of a friend and mentor than a neighbor and I will always remember him with absolute fondness and utmost respect! I will miss his bbq's, his wisdom, and above all else, the kindness and generosity he always showed me. Most of all, I will miss him. I will miss him every time I go outside and look towards his yard. May you rest in peace my dear friend! -Mike Cervo and family

Words alone cannot express how deeply heartbroken we all are for you Kathy, Shannon, Jim's parents and family. Know how much he touched all our lives, our Mom, Tim & I and now my sons. To know Jimmy was to respect, love and admire him. He lived, even during difficult days, life to the fullest. We all feel blessed and are thankful to have had his friendship. Jim will be terribly missed by all who had the good fortune to know him.
