I have wonderful memories of weeks in the summers spent with Aunt Mary Catherine, Uncle Roy, and the three girls -- mostly Joan, who is almost exactly the same age as me. She kept a warm, fun, old fashioned house in an all-American neighborhood. Wonderful cook, and wonderful, fun woman.. She and my mother, her sister Virginia, were very close. She showed me things my mother had made to sell at the big Birmingham department store whose name I can't remember. (Loveman's?) A gorgeous black georgette negligee -- stuff like that. Now the dazzling Winfree girls are together again. After giving each other a big hug, may they jitterbug into eternity with all the love, peace, and joy in the world. They lived lives that certainly entitle them to that. God bless her three beautiful daughters. Strong, successful women every bit like their wonderful mom. Love you all dearly.
