I just heard about Steve's passing. I'm so saddened by the news. Steve was my customer for over 30 years. I so enjoyed working with him and learning from him out in the field. Very few people in the gas industry have the knowledge and experience Steve had. He always treated me with the utmost respect and kindness. I'm praying for Steve and his family.
Sincerely,
Carol Nolte

I am saddened to learn of Steve’s passing. My sincerest sympathies to the family. Steve was one of the good guys. I worked with Steve at LILCO & KeySpan. I have many memories of Steve. Let me share just one. When Steve was a candidate for his first managers position, I had the privilege of interviewing and selecting the best candidate. I certainly made the right decision. He was the best.

Dear Chris, Connor & Courtney,
My sincerest sympathies. Although my time working with Steve was not long, it didn't take long to come to know and respect him as a great manager and kind and caring person. I pray that God will help you find solace in knowing this.

To Chrissy, Connor and Courtney. I worked with Steve for many years at LILCO, KeySpan and National Grid. In that time I got to know Chrissy and some of his family. We attended your wedding and I also had the pleasure of attending his bachelor party, and also a number of events (Yankee games). In the many years Steve and I worked together I truly came to know an amazing person. I know he will be greatly missed by all who loved him. Chrissy, our hearts go out to you and your children at this most difficult time.

It had to be late '74 I guess. A small group of us didn't go on the Holy Trinity senior trip, instead we went to the Minogue's upstate house!! Steve, Don Fleming, Paul Durso, Bob Hutnick and myself...oh yeah and our chaperone Joe Portman. Lot's of snowmobiling and hanging out in that beautiful setting. There may have been some drinking too because we had BB gun fights, shooting at each other outside in the snow. We were being safe because we wore the helmets and faceshield that we used earlier to ride snowmobiles. What a blast we had. What a great time with good friends.
I came back to NY 5 years ago for a HS get together and was hoping to get to visit with Steve. Same Steve, like I saw him yesterday, same good guy, same good friend. Loved seeing him smile and break out laughing. This picture is from the pre-get together party.
God bless you all as you try and get your heads around this. Rest in Peace Steve. Love you brother.
