My sincere condolences to the entire family of Mr John Malta, aka Poppa, Poppa John, etc. I had the pleasure of “watching” him on several occasions, until I noticed, even at his age, was a Ladies man and was actually watching me! ..Lol.. He always had to have his hair perfectly combed, “just in case” he’d say with a grin, and when he really smiled it was ear to ear ! He’d talk away, at donut-time, about his Navy years being furloughed to shore, with many a shenanigan that landed him in the brig. No regrets or apologies for his doings, showed a man that was steadfast In his beliefs, and stated his early military years were priceless. I also saw he was very proud and loved his family dearly.
In closing, I say Love never dies, and that Love is carried by all that knew him. RIP John, and yes, I’m saying that with a grin right back at ya ! Again my heartfelt Condolences.
