Obituary

CERAOLO – Joseph of Nesconset, NY passed away on June 3, 2021 at the age of 92. Reunited in heaven with his beloved wife Rosemarie. Joseph is survived by his three children: his oldest son Lieutenant Commander Salvatore Ceraolo, USN (Ret.) and grandson Joseph, his daughter Camille Voltz, son-in-law Peter, and granddaughter Natalie, and his youngest son, Captain Anthony Ceraolo, USCG, daughter-in-law Commander Lisa Ceraolo, USCGR (Ret.), and granddaughter Rosalia. Joseph was a devoted husband and father who worked for the same Engineering Firm for 43 years; commuting from Long Island to Manhattan, and during his final years of employment, to Princeton, New Jersey. Joseph served his country proudly as a US Army Veteran stationed in Germany from 1951 – 1953. He helped shape young men’s lives as an Assistant Scoutmaster from 1974 -1979 and Scoutmaster from 1979 – 1983 with Boy Scout Troop 888 in Nesconset, NY. He touched the lives of everyone he knew and will live on in our hearts forever. Family will receive friends Monday June 7th 2021, 2 pm – 4 pm and 6 pm – 8 pm, at the Albrecht, Bruno & O’Shea Funeral Homes at 62 Carleton Avenue (2 Miles South Exit 43A SS PKWY) East Islip, NY. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday June 8th 2021, 9:45 am, at St. Patrick’s R.C. Church in Smithtown, NY.
