My deepest condolences to the family for such a loss. God has blessed him on Earth, whom he impacted so many lives and did so many great things for others. He will surely be missed. I met him for only 5 months or so and worked in the same small group and saw the way he interacted with others and me. He was always so outwardly helpful and approachable. I loved his sense of humor and he was not shy in making fun of himself either. He always talked proudly of his family, especially his grandkids and his fishing expeditions.
What a character, what an amazing person.
Love,
Jodie

Dearest Raymond, Julie, Katie and Kathy
We were so SaddenedTo know that your dad was so sick. We prayed along with you, and your family, At the same time, But God had other plans. Ray was a good Man A gentleman, and was so loved by all of Breezy Point. You're parents gave My children beautiful memories that they still talk about today, and will cherish forever. The red Wagon would be Packed with all Kids stuff that yourFather would pull, Along with his fishing Pole that he wouldn't be able to use that day. All the kids would be running in front of him While the mothers walked 20ft. Behind drinking there pink Ladies. Ray would be the kids second dad, while their dads were either working or couldn't be there. He was so kind and gentle with the kids at the beach. How fortunate you were to have such a memorable dad. I admire the 3 of you for the loving care you gave you're dad for so many days along with your mom. I couldn't imagine how emotional and sad you were
You loved your dad, he loved you and his grandchildren. You will recognize that one day when your
reminiscing those many days. I pray you mourn with love, laughter, memories and tears. It's good for your children to see, also for your heart and soul. I will be with you and your mom inspirit and pray tomorrow, as you lay your dad to rest
Think about the reunion your dad had with your grandparents and aunt Barbara, our faith tells us he was
filled with joy I love you Kathy, and never forget so did Ray. ❤

Ray,
A man that wore many hats for himself and all others who interacted with him. One of the many pillars within the CCG department that lent a hand at any time you needed him. A positive role model during our green energy movement with saving paper and showing us ways to adapt to help the earth. Outside of Con Ed, I did not know much about him, but some of the stories he has shared throughout the time of me knowing and working with him, simply told me how much he enjoyed outdoors, especially fishing. Our lord caught one of the great ones. My condolences to the lux family and close friends that loved him dearly. Rest in peace my ConEd brother and friend.

Deepest condolence to the entire family. May God provide the comfort you will need at this time. The world lost a bit of its sunshine.
Ray was one of the nicest person's to have graced this earth. A kind patient man. always smiling, always helpful, always ready to share his knowledge and to teach others. If you ask Ray to show you something, Ray would say come, grab a pencil and he would take his time and show you step by step, how to accomplish the task. His technique was so thorough, you could execute the process using the step by step method he patiently laid out.
He truly taught us how to fish, so we would never go hungry.
REST IN PEACE YOU KIND HEARTED HUMAN BEING. Rest in peace Ray.

My Rayster!!! I started calling you that and you loved it. It became your name!! When you were about to retire you hugged me and asked me “who will call me Rayster now that I’m retiring?” And i told you that i will always call you that. So i stayed in contact with you and always made sure i did.
They say you loved fixing things and you did. I remember my heel getting stuck in a hole by the office building and it came loose and here you come with your gorilla glue. Lol. So many stories, so many memories. I can go on and on. But there aren’t enough words to describe how kind and generous you were. I will miss you so much and i pray you can see how much you are loved. See you later Rayster!!

My dear cousin has joined his sister and parents, I will miss him. I remember when he was born .We had a lot of fun watching this little guy grow up. When I was married he came to my house trying to make some money I think to either buy a car or fishing tackle. He was willing to wash windows or mow the lawn. I had to feed him and pay him. He always made me laugh. I will cherish the memories and his big wonderful smile.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time. Remember all the good times and laughs together.
