I have lifetime of wonderful memories with Luisa and her family. She was such a generous person. Always ready to invite someone to lunch even when she was not really feeling her best. Always grateful for any small present or favor. She was my close and dear friend for more than 60 years. I will miss her terribly. She always worried about Rudy her husband even when she herself was not well. I remember many long walks at Jone's Beach and Cold Spring Harbor.On nice days we would just take a sandwich with us and sit and admire the beautiful scenery. When she and Rudy moved to Oakdale Long Island I visited them, but not as often as I would have liked.We went to the parks and the beach in the area where they lived. She loved nature and being close to the ocean.I moved to Florida, so we did not see each other often, but we always kept in touch. She did visit me in Florida, but only once. We did see each other when they visited her sister Ivana. It was so nice being together. During the pandemic we did not see each other. I was hoping to see her again after the pandemic. Unfortunately that was not to be. My sincere condolences to the whole family. May all of you be strong and cherish all the wonderful memories.
