When I think of Nancy, the two words that immediately come to mind are Mother and Daughter. As a daughter, Nancy was a wonderful friend to her mom, Winnie. I use the word friend because, as far as I could see, that was exactly what Nancy and Winnie were...dear friends. I deeply admired this relationship between Nancy and her mom, and I very much hope that I am lucky enough to experience something similar with my own mom and dad as they age. Nancy set the gold standard for how to care for parents as they grow old, and I am grateful that I had the opportunity to see Nancy and Winnie spending time together while my family was in Levittown.
To understand Nancy as a mother, you just need to spend a few minutes with any of her kids. John, Joe, and Kristy are three of the kindest, most well rounded, and most grounded people I have had the pleasure of knowing. It's clear that Nancy and John raised their children with unconditional love and support. Parenting is the toughest job in the world and Nancy made it look easy! It seems clear to me that being a mom was the greatest joy of Nancy's life and, wow, was she good at it.
Nancy will be missed, but I will continue to think of her as I spend time with my mom and dad and my daughters.
Much love to the Petrizzo family.
Jason

Nancy was always so sweet and kind at work. We always talked about our crafts that we were working on. I'll miss seeing her in the hallways, but I will never forget her.

Nearly every one of my favorite childhood memories involved Aunt Nancy. As a young child, I adored her and she made me feel so special when we spent time together. Aunt Nancy would take me to Jazzercise classes with her, invite me to stay the night with her and always just made me feel loved beyond measure. Growing up, visiting our family during the summer was a highlight. We spent so many summers together enjoying the pool and having special cousin time together. Even as I grew up and had my own family, Aunt Nancy’s love only grew. I will miss her beyond measure and feel so lucky that my girls grew up knowing such a loving, caring and special person who had endless amounts of love for her family. She was so special to me.

Dear smart beautiful friend, I will never forget our high school years together, some of the most fun times in my life. We were in each other’s wedding, and though I moved to another state, we kept in touch from time to time. We wouldn’t talk for months and pick up where we left off as soon as we got on the phone. Your family are the loves of your life, my heartfelt thoughts and prayers go out to them. I will miss you.Love you.

Heartfelt condolences and healing prayers to The Petrizzo Family and all of the friends and colleagues who loved Nancy! Nancy will be remembered with Love... During the times that Nancy fought hard to win her battle, I missed Nancy, her presence at Division, and especially her smile, caring ways and conversations. Nancy was a special woman; who loved her family and friends; always there to lend a hand, help others out and a good friend to many. May Nancy's loving spirit live on in the hearts of those she touched and in the forever memories shared. May You Rest in Peace, Nancy & God Bless!

May your happy memories comfort you.
Nancy loved you all so much.
I know she is looking down, watching over you.
I'm sure she is having a lovely cup of tea with a piece of cake or a chocolate chip cookie,
with friends and family who welcomed her in heaven.
Till we meet ….

I was so fortunate to stumble on Nancy! I needed someone to watch my baby so I could return to work. Nancy was recommended and I knew from the moment I met her that Zachary would be cared for and loved. Nancy watched Zachary from when he was eight weeks old and Kristy became his first friend. Two years later she warmly embraced our second son, Jordan. I never once worried as I knew that Nancy treated my children as she did her own children who she loved more than anything. She was a wonderful mother to John, Joe and Kristy.
Each morning I would run into the Petrizzo household with my children in their pajamas and she provided warmth, love and care for them. She always greeted us with a warm smile and made them feel as though they were at their own home.
After a few years my children began school so I no longer saw Nancy on a regular basis, however, we kept in touch. I was very happy when Nancy began working at Division Avenue. It was so nice to catch up and hear how proud she was of her children. Nancy always greeted me with a smile and a kind word. We reminisced and always talked of how quickly the years were passing. I am grateful to have known Nancy. She will be missed.

By being yourself, you put something wonderful in the world that was not there before.
I will always remember the good times shared through the years together.
Though we did not speak often, I often did think about you.
Rest in eternal peace Nancy, and may perpetual light forever shine upon you. XO
