Jacqueline (Jackie) June Hopke (nee Ruck) of Wantagh, NY was called home to God on February 14, 2021 at the age of 85. Beloved wife of the late Theodore. Jackie’s greatest love was her family and is survived by her four children: Susan (Howard) Lippman of Millsboro, DE, Carol (Domenick) Di Taranto of Midlothian VA, Debra Hopke of Ridgefield CT & Robert Hopke of Wantagh. Cherished grandmother of Sheri Lippman, Michael Levine, Stephanie Lippman, Nicholas Di Taranto, Kaitlyn Lippman , Hadley Hopke & the late Christopher Di Taranto. Loving great grandmother (Gee Gee) of Emma and Riley Levine. Also, missing & looking for her is her loving kitty Milo. Jackie was the daughter of the late Anna Ruck and preceded in death by her brothers, Walter and Gustav, sisters Martha, Dorothy, Margaret & Annabelle. Jackie will be forever loved, dearly missed and always remembered. Family will receive friends, Sunday, 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm, at the Charles J. O’Shea Funeral Homes, 603 Wantagh Ave. (Exit 28N SS PKWY) Wantagh, NY. Religious Services will be held at 8 pm. Interment will be held on Monday at Calverton National Cemetery, Wading River, NY.
