Dear Soula, Penny, Katerina and family, We were absolutely shocked and so sad to hear of Niko's passing and wish to send you all of our love and deepest condolences. Though too much time has passed since we last saw him, we will always remember Niko for his quick sense of humor, welcoming generosity and kind, gentle spirit. Time has stood still for us when we think of Niko and in our thoughts he will always be that elegant and vibrant man who so often shared with us his stories, his laughter and his encouragement when we were just a young family, starting out here in America. This is like a dream. Please wake me up. All the beautiful memories we all shared together came rushing back. How we all met, weddings, parties, coffee evenings...My family was so upset at this news.. Niko always had time to chat, listen, and always had wisdom. His generation is unmatchable. I am left both shocked and angry at the circumstances. He deserved better for his golden years. Coronavirus should never have been in the cards..
