My very deepest condolences to all of Louis' family. I know this is a very difficult time. May God comfort you always.
Louis was a special person; quiet, considerate and kind. I have only good memories of him, which speaks about who he was. I met Louis when he was only 11 years old and I was 12. We went to St. Sylvester's school and he was in my sister Andrea's class.
Then I joined a group of friends from school, and we played together, on his block, McKinley Avenue, in Brooklyn. That was March of 1973, when I began so many new friendships with these kids, friendships that continue until this day. He was so adorable and sweet. So glad I got to see him a few times in the past 10 years. The last time being at Matteo's restaurant in Howard Beach at the end of 2015, when a group of us had a little reunion dinner. Once again nice memories to reflect upon. Louis you will always hold a special place in my heart....and be remembered with love. Rest in peace my friend.
