On Thursday, December 31,2020, William Kopack, passed away at the age of 80. Kind and loving husband to Bridget Toner-Kopack. Beloved husband to the late Antonia Kopack. Loving father to Christine, Joseph, and John. Loving father-in-law to Joanne and Debbie. Cherished grandfather to Alexa, Madison, Marissa, Sophia, and Nicholas. Loving brother and uncle. Bill grew up in Westbury, NY and served in the U.S. Navy after high school. He received a Bachelor’s degree from New York Institute of Technology. He was an engineer who worked and retired from Grumman after 30 years of dedication. Bill resided in East Meadow, NY for 53 years. He enjoyed spending time in Ocala, Florida over the past ten years. What he loved most was spending time with his family. Celebrating holidays and birthdays were always very important to him. He thoroughly enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and attending their concerts, competitions, and games. Bill was always there to lend a helping hand with anything his family and friends needed. He loved to travel, do home improvements, and work in the yard. He will be missed dearly. Memories of him will be held close to our hearts always.
