VETTER - Lorraine a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend passed away peacefully at home on Friday, January 1, 2021. Born on April 21, 1948 in Ridgewood, NY, she was 1 of 5 children to Joseph and Virginia Roth. Lorraine was an artist and always had a flare for creativity. She loved to read mystery novels, do crossword puzzles, craft ceramics, and spend time with her family and friends. Beloved wife of Lawrence Vetter for over 50 years. Loving mother of Larry Jr. and Chris. Cherished grandmother of Ryan and Dylan. Family will receive friends Tuesday, 2 – 4 pm and 6 – 9 pm, at the Charles J. O’Shea Funeral Homes, 603 Wantagh Ave. (Exit 28N SS PKWY) Wantagh, NY. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, January 6, 2021, 11:30 am, at Holy Family Church in Hicksville, NY. Interment to follow St Charles Cemetery in Farmingdale, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (800) 478-5833 or www.stjude.org.
