So very sorry for your loss...you were a true blessing to our neighborhood as we shared many morning coffees discussing how grateful we were living where we did. He was so appreciative of his family and friends. I will still have coffee with you in my heart. And with that, I'm going to let you go now.
Rick Zalek, your friend and neighbor.

What I remember most was your sense of humor.
I am sharing this photo dated 1941 that you sent to me some years ago
at Christmas. And a new journey has taken you to join your father, mother,
sisters, brothers and Aunt Dolores.
Goodbye Uncle Peter and may you all rest in peace.

I was privileged to have had Pete’s friendship for the past 50 years. We were both agents in the Immigration Service. Pete was initially my training officer and later became my mentor and partner. He taught me that there was balance in the world-we worked hard and we played hard. Humor permeated our friendship.During tough times in my life Peter was always there, being supportive and helping to keep me grounded. After our retirements we kept in touch and enjoyed many road trips in the southwest-hiking, touring, river rafting and reminiscing. Humor was our constant companion. Peter’s parents fondly called him “Petra”. Rest In Peace Petra. Rest In Peace dear friend.
