A few who have watched me sail away,

I only met Donna and Rich one time,in the recovery room that we shared,we talked for hours and continued texts and brief phone conversations. We seem t o have a lot in common. I love to hear Donna talk about her girls and the love of her heart Rich. Continue to keep him in your heart,he will forever be your love.

Farewell little brother! I am Rich's oldest brother Bob. I am 9 years older so my memories are of a little guy that was always smiling and happy. I taught him how to sail as in one of these photos. He was helpful, as shown in the picture where I am washing and he is drying. He is helping his brother by pushing a wagon--an early start in helping everyone. More photos of Rich smiling.
Rich had a life well lived. He managed construction from Alaska to Saudi Arabia. He raised two wonderful daughters. He had a 42 year marriage to Donna Lou. He smiled his whole life.
Rich and Donna Lou visited Sue and I when I was stationed with the Navy in London and they were living in Saudi Arabia. The first order business was to stock up on wine making supplies. Rich always had his priorities right!
I will miss his laugh the most.

My dear Donna Lou, Katrina and Ashley,
There are no words to express how sorry we are to know that our dear friend Rich has gone to our Lord. What wonderful memories I have cherished from our college days and through the years. I remember when I introduced you to Rich...who knew 40+ years later here we are...

My sincere condolences....
One of the best men in my life, responsible for making me, the person I am today. I owe my career, my family and quiet frankly, my dam life to Rick! He was a friend, a mentor, an adviser and all-knowing, to me. He believed in me more than I believed in myself.
