Obituary
Thomas Fox, known as just Tom, Tommy or Fox lived a beautiful 65 years.
For 20 years he served New York City as a corrections officer at Rikers Island and Queens house of detention. He was loyal to the job. He retired in March of 2001. After he worked for the Center for Developmental disabilities from 2003 to 2018 when he was forced into retirement not just from his daughter Amanda but back surgery. He never wanted to stop working including when he was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer August 28th of 2019.
He is survived by his two daughters, Amanda and Cynthia, also his son in law Michael and his soon to be son in law James. Along with his brothers Joey, Jimmy, Ronald and Bobby. His beloved mother, Margaret Fox, and father, Joseph Fox and step father, Edward Kittle, met him at the gates where the pain would end and he could be free again.
