Sorry it took so long to write this. Maybe because I just couldn't wrap my head around the idea that you're really gone. When they first told me it just didn't hit home yet; I couldn't understand. Last we saw each other was a year before Covid happened and I was buying us lunch. You said that we should catch up next time again for lunch but I've been so focus at work that I've kept pushing it back and now suddenly you're not here anymore. I think that if I didn't come here I would still feel that you're around. I'm sorry I missed our lunch get together and now I won't have that chance again. To me you were always that older brother whose trying to pick on me and I'm the rebellious one trying to do his own thing. I'm sorry but I'll cut it short here, if I keep recalling I'll start to tear up. I'll think about you time to time Randy, I won't forget. By the way I think you'll appreciate this if you're up there watching, I'm sending us to the moon so the memories will always be around.

Very sorry to learn about Randy's passing. I was friends with him in Wantagh Middle School and Wantagh High School. He was funny and we used to BBQ at his house and talk sports and race cars. My grandma passed away this Tuesday and will be at O'Shea. I'm so very sorry about his passing. I'm very upset. Take care, friend. God bless you. -Jack Leone

Tom and I are so so very sorry at the passing of Randy. We met Randy briefly at Gina's baby naming ceremony and were touched by his gentleness and humor. Randy, we will take good care of Cara, our daughter-in-law to be and Gina your niece, our granddaughter. Mark has shared many funny stories about you with us. Our prayers and heartfelt condolences to Joe and Jill, Rosemary, Paul, Cara, David and extended family. We love you all.

I want to thank you for making me car sick for the first time that I could remember. That trip to Cooperstown is an all time one. Your "driving" was more like a roller-coaster. I mean, who drives upstate at night, in the middle of nowhere going 60 and then shuts the lights off? That was something but so was your friendship. Thank you for always having my back, I truly thank you for that. Above all, thank you for loving Rosemary has much as you did. I could have kept this very emotional but you always tried to make people smile at wakes (we've been to so many) and if someone reads this and smiles at the story about your suspect driving "skills" then that is in honor of you. Most definitely gone too soon brother. Rest in peace, you are and will be ever sorely missed.
With Love,
Mark Vega

We were the best of cousins - not blood related, so we had no drama with each other & we could talk about everybody else.
Met games, knocking down cones, TRIVIA!, Sebastian's popcorn, Cooperstown, virgin wings, Mac & Cheese, having standings for the boys, RC cola, the Blvd. and of course, Chicken Parm.
You were crude and rude. You drove like your car was CGI. You did not suffer fools lightly. You ate like a teenager. I still think you're a bastard for leaving us too soon.
I'll miss every bit of it.
Good-bye, Cousin. May you park right next to Heaven's gate so you can get in quicker.

Randy, you were a perfect addition to our family of friends. I couldn't have hand picked a better man for my sister Ro. Joey and I will miss you so much. Your sense of humor and personality will forever be unmatched and the love that you and Ro shared is exactly the kind of love every girl wishes for. As a couple you were perfect and as an individual you were outstanding. The world will never be as bright or as funny as it once was because you left it. I am so grateful for the wonderful memories. I am so eternally grateful for you being everything Ro ever wanted and needed for 8 years. It was not long enough at all but you lived everyday loving each other unconditionally and that love lasts for eternity. Randy, my favorite fellow member of my jew tribe. You are the reason why my Grandma liked Rosemary the best... she was the only one who married the nice Jewish boy out of us all. We promised to always take care of Ro and you know we will. Thanks for all the signs from you that we received so far they have been helpful. Randy, I love you and we will all keep you in memory as we "go on with our daily activities" Rest easy my brother, love you always ❤

Randy was a friend, always willing to help someone, and always willing to try. He was a good man.... FUNNY with a wit that came on the fly and made everyone laugh. I'll miss seeing him when I'd go to DPW. I'll miss the random how ya doin' calls. Until we meet again my friend, rest in peace.
My condolences to Randy's family in this difficult and challenging time.
