I’m so sorry to hear of Jon’s passing. I met him in the Amazon author forum, and talked to him frequently there. He had such an amazing wit, and kept us all entertained. He loved reading, and endeared himself to all the authors with his excellent reviews. We had some great conversations, and a lot of laughs together over the years. I always wished I could meet him in person. Rest easy, big guy. You were loved by many.

I met Jon on the Amazon forums and we bickered about politics ever since, yet we also connected over horror fiction and noir, and though we never met offline, I considered him a friend. I'm very sad he's gone.

We met in the Amazon forums and didn't want to lose touch when they shut down so Facebook and Goodreads became our new home. I always enjoyed your snarky observations of life. They made me laugh. We both agreed that AC/DC rocked, animals were awesome and good horror could never be taken for granted. I hope your furbabies were there to greet you when you arrived. RIP, my friend.
