Joanne Tripp passed peacefully on May 22, 2020, in East Meadow, NY, at age 61 from breast cancer. Joanne was a loving wife, daughter, sister and aunt. She was predeceased by her husband Raymond, and her parents Jane and John Carstens. She leaves many cherished memories with her sister and best friend Ellie, and her brother John and his wife Ruth, and their sons, Dan and Eric, and many nieces, nephews and longtime friends. Joanne graduated from Adelphi University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and spent more than 35 years in loving care of her patients at Nassau University Medical Center and the Long Island Family Quality Health Center. Along with her human family, Joanne leaves behind Lady and Reilly, the most recent of a long lineage of four-legged children Jo and Ray adopted over the years.
