Kevin lived three houses away from me, and was an integral part of the group of guys who grew up together on Andrew Avenue. He was a good friend, and a good neighbor. So sad to hear of his passing.

When I think of Kevin I think of having catches with lacrosse sticks on Andrew ave.
And walking to tropical fish store over Wantagh parkway with a penny saver coupon. And as we got older nights at Roosevelt racetrack where Kevin did very well. I told my mother about his passing and she was very sad.as we all are Rest In Peace Kevin,

When I think of my brother Kevin I have nothing but happy memories of smiling and laughing with him. My earliest memories of Kevin were that he was always doing something to make his little sister laugh, making silly faces and other antics, especially at the dinner table, which would draw the ire of our Mom. My mother really never knew why we were laughing, just that we were, “acting up” during supper and she wanted it to stop. As we got older we spent many nights hanging out talking about life and eating chocolate chip cookies and milk. Kevin loved his tropical fish and would fuss with his tank always adding little touches to make it nicer.
Growing up with Kevin was always a happy relaxed fun time; camping trips, sleigh riding, clamming with my Dad and brothers, are wonderful memories. I’ll never forget those times and that Kevin was a sweet gentle soul.

Kevin Madden was a beautiful soul, whose spirit And memory will live on forever. As a good friend of his daughter Tasha, I spent many weekends at the Madden residence. I will always remember Mr. Madden’s warm smile, sense of humor and kind personality. I know he absolutely adored his fish and loved taking care of them, which I thought was very endearing. His love for his family was very obvious and I know that love will live on in each of their hearts. Kevin Madden will be very missed by all of us. I am happy and honored to have known him. I know In my heart that he is in the most beautiful place, free of suffering, and surrounded by love. I like to think he is even hanging out with my Dad up there reminiscing college years now that I know they were both alumni of CW post at the same age. Kevin Madden, you will never be forgotten! ..With a heavy heart my husband Mike and I would like to send our deepest condolences to your family during this extremely difficult time.
